Informational only — not medical advice

Caredermis provides general, educational information about cosmetic ingredients drawn from published regulatory and scientific sources. It is not medical adviceand is not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified dermatologist or physician. An ingredient's classification describes the substance, not a clinical test of a specific finished product, and regulators often act on a precautionary basis or on exposure far higher than cosmetic use. Never disregard professional advice because of something you read here.

Accuracy and formulations change

We work to keep assessments accurate and sourced, but we make no warranty that information is complete, current, or error-free. Product formulations and regulations change, and ingredient lists from third-party databases can be outdated or wrong. Always verify against the ingredient list on your product's packaging. An ingredient with no flag in our data is not a guarantee of safety, and individual sensitivities vary. See our methodology for exactly how our scores are calculated and sourced.

Acceptable use

You may use Caredermis for personal, non-commercial reference. Please don't scrape the site at scale, attempt to disrupt it, or present its content as professional or medical guidance to others.
